Gator Wakeboards was founded in 1998. At the time, founder Erik 'Gator' Lutgert was a 22-year-old professional wakeboarder coming off his 3rd knee surgery, this is when he started his own company. The vision was for Gator wakeboards and wakeboard bindings to be recognised as the world's elite water sports manufacturer. The mission is to produce the highest quality products whilst consistently meeting the customer's needs and exceeding expectations. Gator aim to innovate and that's why they are trend setters in the industry.
