Lost Clothing and Lost Surfboards

Lost Enterprises sprang to life when a bunch of school pals, who were into snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing began an underground gorilla marketing campaign to spread the word around Dana Point, South of Los Angeles. With the infamous ...Lost logo appearing everywhere from benches, tables and the street, the emergence of the first range of Lost t-shirts stormed to popularity and Lost Enterprises was born.

With a heart in the surf shaping industry, Matt Biolos began sanding Lost surfboards in 1987 and posted the Lost logo anywhere and everywhere. Surfers like Matt Archbold and Christian Fletcher were getting Lost paint jobs. After being convinced to spread the Lost brand from surfboards into t-shirts, Biolos and Timmy Patterson launched Lost clothing. At the same time Biolos shaped Mayhem surfboards were beginning to gain a name for themselves and with Christian Fletcher on the end of a leash, the first Lost video, Dysfunctional, made its debut in 1993. Made purely for friends, the video gathered popularity in the underground surf movement and led to the next Lost movie, What's Really Going On, in 1995.

Utilising the Gotcha brands screen printing equipment before 6am, the first line of Lost board shorts, Lost t-shirts, Lost jackets and more were produced. With the assistance of Lawrance Quigley, the range of Lost Enterprises clothing grew and with the first of the Lost team riders, Chris Ward and Justin Matteson took the brand into a brave new world.

Nowadays, Lost typifies all that surf, skate and snow culture can be. Raw, untamed and unadulterated Lost clothing is prized by boardriders who know what it means to be well and truely, Lost. From very wild beginnings, Lost Enterprises now flows through athleste, films, art, music and clothing.
