- EPS liner
Low-profile and light in weight, EPS foam liners are the industry standard for action sports. EPS liners are not multi-impact, but they do meet CE/CPSC standards.
- In mould micro shell
Fuses a lightweight polycarbonate outer shell with the helmets foam liner. This gives you the optimal balance of protection, low-profile style and minimum weight
- RECCO ™: Rescue System
A RECCO locator chip is built into the helmet. This works with advanced radar technology to allow for quick location of an avalanche victim or lost rider by the large percentage of ski patrols and mountain rescue teams that uses this system.
- Dri-Lex
Dri-Lex™ is made from hydrophobic (moisture-hating) polyester and hydrophilic (moisture-loving) nylon. This combination takes perspiration off the skin and to the outer layer to rapidly dry. Dri-Lex™ resists odor and mildew, is breathable and quick-drying.
- Bernoulli venting system
Exclusive to Pro-Tec. As air passes over the helmet each vent experiences a drop in pressure. This difference in pressure causes the interior heated air to be drawn out of the helmet and replaced by cooler air.
