The Kazu Kokubo Pro is a board which lives up the rider’s name, its no wonder that its picked up multiple awards. If you want a board which performs to perfection in the backcountry but can still carry you all over the mountain, then the Kazu Kokubo Pro sits inside that box. The medium 6.5 flex gives the board both flexibility and response. This board has a directional shape with a 0.5” setback and a tapered tail, this lengthens the nose and makes it slightly wider to give it extra float over powder. Unlike typical powder boards the Kazu Kokubo Pro board has a compact frame which makes it easy and quick to manoeuvre.
The classic camber profile on this board runs the whole length of the body, the camber shape gives you the edge that make continuous contact to improve your edge hold. Camber gives you increased power in your turns and quicker edge to edge transitions for more precision riding. Whilst you’re deep in the powder the directional rocker at the nose gives it lift and float.
Capitas Panda core incorporates bamboo rods which keeps the core lightweight and poppy. The bamboo rods increase the responsiveness of the board and help drive power from the centre out to the tips. Whilst V-Tech amplifier tape adds responsiveness and a dampening feeling in the board. The core is sandwiched in-between two layers of fiberglass Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax, making the board both flexible and highly responsive. To give you speed on all terrain, the Hyperdrive Base is made with a high molecular mass combined with a carbon component is highly anti-friction. The sintered base keeps the board up to speed and is highly durable.
Capita boards are manufactured in the Mothership, this factory is eco-friendly and has previously won the Energy Globe Award. The Mothership factory produces boards more efficiently and with a sustainable process. This factory is 100% hydro powered.
