The 156 is an all-mountain board with a freestyle focus, it gives you the same performance of a freestyle board but with the freedom to explore the whole mountain. The 6mm camber profile gives you lots of pop and a playful feel underfoot for the park. Out on the groomers, camber increases your stability at high speed. Plus, if you enjoy the backcountry and tree lines the camber profile quickens your edge to edge transitions. The 156 has a twin shape profile which allows you to easily change between riding forward or switch, ideal if you like the park or jibbing on the slopes.
This board is geared towards intermediate to advanced riders as It’s highly responsive. The flex has an 8/10 which is stiffer than most freestyle boards to give you more response, whilst tri-ax fibreglass reduces torsional twist to give you precision riding. Wherever you find yourself on the mountain, the sintered base will keep you flying fast over flats and across sticky snow. DC boards are manufactured in the Mothership, this factory is eco-friendly and has previously won the Energy Globe Award. The Mothership factory produces boards more efficiently and with a sustainable process. This factory is 100% hydro-powered.
