The T2B board is an all mountain board with freestyle in mind. This twin shape board has an asymmetric construction, which has extra paulownia along the heel edge for increased flex. The T2B has a medium flex making it ideal for all mountain riding whilst also being responsive. The hybrid profile on the T2B gives you the best of both worlds, rocker in the centre for float in the powder and camber either side of the bindings to increase your pop and give you a playful feel underfoot. The camber is going to keep you stable at high speeds, whilst the sintered base going to help you keep your speed.
The T2B uses an asymmetrical construction to stand out from the crowd, this design means that the heel edge and toe edge are designed slightly differently to give you the best performance. The toe edge has a steeper angle so you can get high on your edge and vertical with the slope. Whilst the heel edge has a shorter contact length to increase your power. This asymmetrical balance gives you’re a more natural feel on the board and helps to reduce fatigue. Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax runs evenly throughout the board which gives it torsional twist where needed whilst keeping the board responsive. A GNU board wouldn’t be a GNU board unless it features Magne-traction edges. These are serrated along both the heel and toe to give you the superb bite into the hardpack snow and ice. These edges improve your edge hold to give you increased confidence when riding multiple terrain.
Lib-Tech boards are made in the Mervin factory in the USA. This factory is the most environmentally friendly factory which is powered with wind and water. The materials have carefully been selected to create an eco-board, made using renewable wood, low voc resin and bio topsheet. During the process of making the snowboard the Mervin factory uses water-based inks and sublimation. Plus, the final coating is no toxic, so it doesn’t run into our water streams and cause damage to the environment.
