Profile: Origional Banana technology, this hybrid profile is made up of rocker inbetween your feet with mild camber either side. This profile gives of easy progression on the slopes and float in powder.
Shape: True twin shape. This is symetrical to create a balanced ride between the nose and tail, so you can ride switch and jib around.
Flexibility: Soft flex with a rating of 3- 5/10. The board getting slightly stiffer as it gets longer.
Board Construction: OP+construction. This construction gives you a strong board which remains lightweight.
Core: 100cm - 120cm is made with 5% aspen and 95% paulmownia . 125cm - 140cm 75% Aspen and 25% paulmownia.
Base: Eco sublimated extruded base, which is easy to repair if you damage it on rocks or on features.
Fiberglass: Tri-Ax/ Bi-Ax glass. This gives the board stiffer sections to drive power and more flexible sections for torsional twist.
Top Sheet: Eco subllimated poly top
Sidewalls: Birch sidewalls internally run along the length of the toe and heel edge, outside of the birch runs UHMW sintered sidewalls. Whilst UHMW at the tip and tail increase impact deflection.
Edges: Magne-Traction edges are serrated to improve your edge hold, giving you better bite in icy conditions.

The Banana Blaster snowboard for juniors is an all mountain board which is great for someone who wants to explore the whole mountain. The soft flex and hybrid construction make this board ideal for someone who is in the learning stages and wants to progress. The rocker in the centre gives you a more forgiving ride and makes it easier to initiate turns. This Banana Blaster has a true twin shape which makes it great for jibbing around on the slopes and riding switch.
Just like all of the adult boards, the Banana Blaster uses Lib-Techs Magne-traction edge which is serrated. This edge gives you improved hold on hardpack snow and icy condition, so you have the confidence to tackle the mountain. When mastering your boarding skills, you’re bound to take a few falls, luckily the Banana Blaster is equipped to handle the hits. The combination of sintered sidewalls and impact deflection at the tip and tail keep the board long lasting. Plus, the extruded base is easy to repair if you incur any dings.
Lib-Tech boards are made in the Mervin factory in the USA. This factory is the most environmentally friendly factory which is powered with wind and water. The materials have carefully been selected to create an eco-board, made using renewable wood, low voc resin and bio topsheet. During the process of making the snowboard the Mervin factory uses water-based inks and sublimation. Plus, the final coating is no toxic, so it doesn’t run into our water streams and cause damage to the environment. It’s evident that climate change is having an impact on the mountain environment, so with a Mervin factory board to can reduce your carbon footprint whilst still enjoying a well man board which is going to give you a fun ride down the mountain.
