Snowboard Type: Experimental style board with a freeride focus
Rider Level: best suited to an intermediate to advanced rider
Profile: C3 banana technology, this hybrid profile is made up of mild rocker in between your feet with camber on either side. This gives you aggressive control and power
Flex Medium flex with a rating of 6-7/ 10. The boards get slightly stiff as they get longer
Board Construction: OP+construction. This construction gives you a strong board that remains lightweight
Core: 75% Aspen and 25% paulmownia
Base: Sintered base which is hardwearing and fast
Fibreglass: Tri-Ax/ Bi-Ax glass. This gives the board stiffer sections to drive power and more flexible sections for a torsional twist
Top Sheet: Eco sublimated poly top
Sidewalls: Birch sidewalls internally run along the length of the toe and heel edge, outside of the birch runs UHMW sintered sidewalls. Whilst UHMW at the tip and tail increase impact deflection
Edges: Magne-Traction edges are serrated to improve your edge hold, giving you a better bite in icy conditions

The Rocket is inspired by the surfing motion, the Rocket has a directional shape that lengthens the nose to give you extra float and a surf feel. A wider waist creates a larger surface area to prevent you from sinking in the powder so you can float over the top. The Rocket uses a C3 profile which creates an aggressive ride. The C3 profile is a hybrid between rocket and camber, with a mild rocker between the bindings and camber outside the bindings. The rocker creates an even pressure along the edge for control and edge hold. The rocker helps create a float in powder, whilst the camber gives you extra stability at high speeds and pop in the nose and tail. The progressive elliptical sidecut makes this a great board for carving and long runs down groomers.
Like the name suggest the Rocket is fast thanks to the sintered base which has waxed embedded deeply and is highly durable. To add to the durability of the Rocket, it uses UHMW sintered sidewalls and UHMW impact deflection at the nose and tail. The Rocket has a medium to firm flex, ideally suited to an intermediate rider as the board is less forgiving. Plus Tri-Ax fibreglass makes it more responsive for precision riding.
Lib-Tech boards are made in the Mervin factory in the USA. This factory is the most environmentally friendly factory which is powered by wind and water. The materials have carefully been selected to create an eco-board, made using renewable wood, low voc resin and bio topsheet. During the process of making the snowboard, the Mervin factory uses water-based inks and sublimation. Plus, the final coating is no toxic, so it doesn’t run into our water streams and cause damage to the environment. It’s evident that climate change is having an impact on the mountain environment, so with a Mervin factory board to can reduce your carbon footprint whilst still enjoying a well man board which is going to give you a fun ride down the mountain.
