Profile: C2 banana technology, this hybrid profile is made up of rocker inbetween your feet with camber either side. This gives you precision riding on the slopes and float in powder.
Shape: True twin shape. This is symetrical to create a balanced ride between the nose and tail, so you can ride switch and jib around.
Flexibility: Medium to firm flex, rated 7/10
Board Construction: HP construction. This construction gives you a smooth ride with a lightweight board.
Core: 60% Aspen and 40% paulmownia
Base: Eco sublimated sintered.
Fiberglass: Tri-Ax/ Bi-Ax glass with basalt. This gives the board stiffer sections to drive power and more flexible sections for torsional twist.
Topsheet: Bio beans top is eco friendly.
Sidewalls: Birch sidewalls internally run along the length of the toe and heel edge. Whilst UHMW at the tip and tail increase impact deflection.
Edges: Magne-Traction edges are serrated to improve your edge hold, giving you better bite in icy conditions.

This year’s T-Ras is the collaboration child between Travis Rice and Chris Rasman. This true twin board is built for all mountain riding and park/ freestyle. The true twin shape made is great for jibing around as you can ride in switch and the board will behave in the same way. The C2 profile is a blend of rocker and camber, the rocker in the centre gives the board extra float in powder and gives you a more forgiving ride. The camber outside either binding increases the pop in the nose and tail, plus it gives you better edge to edge control and stability at high speeds.
The T.Ras construction has been carefully thought out for performance, the core is lightweight using a blend of aspen and paulownia. The fiberglass is a blend of Bi-Ax and Tri-Ax, this gives the board flex where needed and responsiveness. A sintered base is going to keep you up to speed on the slopes, it’s extremely tough and fast to get you over the flats and through sticky snow.
When using your board in the park its bound to get knocked about a bit, which is why you need a board which is ready for the challenge. The T-Ras has external sintered sidewalls which are highly durable, whilst impact protection has been placed around the nose and tail. Outside of the park, your edges are super important for carving over hardpack snow and ice. The T.Ras uses Lib-Techs Magne-Traction serrated edges to give the board extra bite and edge hold.
Lib-Tech boards are made in the Mervin factory in the USA. This factory is the most environmentally friendly factory which is powered with wind and water. The materials have carefully been selected to create an eco-board, made using renewable wood, low voc resin and bio topsheet. During the process of making the snowboard the Mervin factory uses water-based inks and sublimation. Plus, the final coating is no toxic, so it doesn’t run into our water streams and cause damage to the environment. It’s evident that climate change is having an impact on the mountain environment, so with a Mervin factory board to can reduce your carbon footprint whilst still enjoying a well man board which is going to give you a fun ride down the mountain.
