We don’t know about you, but at the age of 12 we were spending hours on end trying to nail the Ollie. This was often followed by wild sessions on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 because the parents were too busy to shepherd us to the surf.
We don’t want to make you feel like you’ve wasted your youth, but Kauli Vaast will easily do that for us. At the age of 12 he’s man handling one of the most dangerous waves in the world; a wave most of us can only dream about surfing. Jealous much? The best way to deal with this is to accept he’s a super surf child. Let’s just share his stoke on this epic achievement and wish him the best for his promising future.
