Barcelona; it’s a concrete Mecca for skaters – and right now the city is getting pumped because the SLS Nike SB Pro Open is back in Barca to kick start the SLS series for 2016. Skatepark Agora will see some of our favourite pros descend upon it on the 21st and 22nd May. There’s set to be 28 skaters competing in the day one heats to go up against all our favourite SLS pros on day two; with the likes of Curren Caples and Tiago Lemos hoping to go head to head with beastly skaters such as Paul Rodriguez, Nyjah Huston and Luan Oliveira (to name a few!).
With the series continuing in Munich and New Jersey through July and August, and culminating in the Super Crown World Championship in Los Angeles in October, all athletes will be aiming for buttery tricks and solid bolt landings to concrete their place in the SLS Nike SB World Tour 2016. There’s sure to be some seriously mean skating taking place next weekend. You’ve had the heads up, now you have five days to get seriously amping. We definitely will.
