They say that things come in threes. After Burton and Nike have released teasers for their new web series, Adidas Snowboarding release the trailer for their new web series: Nomad. Whereas Burton and Nike are drawing out the web series, Adidas Snowboarding is bringing three compact ‘webisodes’ from different locations. The first episode’s teaser demonstrates just why they call snow in Japan ‘Jap Pow’. Kazu Kokubo leads the way in discovering the world’s best powder in the mountains of Hokkaido.
It’s quite refreshing not having voiceovers or ‘deep’ introspective looks into the lives of pro riders. If the teaser’s anything to go by, this is fun, powder-filled team adventures that show riding at its best. Well, that’s hardly surprising with the likes of Jake Blauvelt, Eric Jackson and Helen Schettini making up the Adidas team on the Japan trip.
