The latest edit from the awesome Sharpy (Plastic Project ambassador) for O’Neill, all came together with an epic day of surfing on the North coast of Scotland. But as we all know, there is a whole heap of downtime waiting for the right conditions on any surf trip, especially in Scotland. So what did the crew get up to? Well, the O’Neill squad were sporting the new range made from recycled marine waste and it was only natural that they got out there and gave some love back to the beaches that delivered the salty goods.
O’Neill’s ‘Blue’ campaign involves using materials derived from marine plastic in the their range, whats not to like about that? It clearly states the brands commitment to an issue we are all concerned about. The first collection of mostly board shorts, removed around 200,000 plastic bottles from beaches and shorelines around the world. With the new seasons collection including jackets and other bulkier items, that number will only increase.
