Because big wave surfing isn’t gnarly enough?! Willy “mind boggler” Bogner has managed to defy the elements on a pair of skis. As crazy as this video is, it actually does make perfect sense. When you ski powder, all you’re doing is flowing over crystalline water (thanks Wikipedia). When you surf, you’re obviously riding on water too (duh). And then when you consider waves as the mountains of the ocean, the sports (sort of) are the same thing (but not really). Hmm, it appears this makes no sense at all and we guess that’s why this video is so brilliant.
If you’re wondering whether this would work the other way around (surf on snow), here’s proof that it does. But not even a dub step sound track can help in making it remotely cool.
