White Lightning strikes again! It was a tedious weak with a small swell and unfavourable winds at the Billabong Pro in Tahiti, nothing like the tremendous scenes of last year’s contest. However, Chopes finally woke up in the dying moments of the waiting period to dish up some Tahitian perfection. The world’s best surfers had the chance to fight it out in the tube, where Mick Fanning’s form & determination made sure he walked away with the victory. Stamping down a solid lead on the world tour,Fanning is now in a strong position for his third world title!
