The Captain Fin Story
“creating goods to make others smile”
Originally starting out with surfboard fins alone, Captain Fin worked alongside various artists and team riders to create unique and simply put, some seriously sick looking fins. These designs were screaming to be applied to t-shirts, boardies and well, anything else they wanted to. They did just that and as they say, the rest is history.
The reaction to the first drop of apparel was huge! They applied that certain Captain Fin je nais se quoi to classics, combining retro styling and good times. Both surfers and skaters alike fell for the funky, original lines that had colour and quirk not seen since the 80’s.
Captain Fins ranges, like the brand, have always been about having fun and not taking themselves too seriously. Their roster of team riders reflects this mentality with the likes of Dane Reynolds, Noa Deane, Joel Tudor and Tanner Gudauskus, to literally name a few, riding the fins and wearing the garms.

The Neon Dream collection is exclusive to Surfdome and was the brain child of the designers at Captain Fin and our global buying team.
