Protection
It’s often overlooked, but a good set of pads can be the difference between 3 months not skating and getting up and trying again. Ensuring that you have the right protection does make a difference and our collective years of surf, snow and skate experience really reinforces that. Make sure you’re wearing the right pads and bailing won’t be so scary!

They’ve only ventures slightly in to the world of hardware but here at Surfdome we’ve been going mad for the Iron Stag decks. Exclusive to Surfdome these decks sport great concave and have a satisfying amount of pop. We handed a few out to the skaters in the office to demo and we’ve had nothing but positive reviews. But the awesomeness doesn’t end there, Iron Stag also have a range of boards perfect for beginners – so if you child is showing an interest in skating, these boards are what we would recommend!

We all have to start somewhere, The Iron Stag completes are perfect for beginners. featuring 51mm wheels which are ideal for street skating. Paired with a shallow concave and ABEC 3 bearings this board is great choice for solidifying the basics on.

For those who are looking for a bit more freedom with their set-up or are just looking to replace their battered deck. The Iron Stag decks are available in two sizes 7.75″ & 8″. Made from the finest 7-ply Canadian maple, these decks have sweet concave and depending on the size you choose will be either medium or high. The medium/high concave means they are super snappy are are loaded with enough pop to make landing that tre flip down your local 5-stair a dream. Oh and did I mention they also come pre-gripped? Now there’s a weight off your shoulders!
