If you want to consistently surf big gnarly barrels, it looks like you should relocate yourself to Mexico. The proof is in Alex Gray & Jamie O’Brian’s puddin’ as they’ve scored countless sessions of rip-roaring waves down Mexico way. So much so, it would appear they’ve almost had too much of the good stuff as they’re not scared to taunt a few outrageous tubes with a corn on the cob.
It does raise the question, ‘what’s the point?’ We’re not sure, but we got the metaphor loud and clear. We suppose if you’ve got the skills & the gonads, why not do something no one has ever done before? After all, surfing’s all about having fun and it looks like they’ve got it figured out.
