Introducing Christy Prior

Is she the best female snowboarder or what? The woman that needs no introduction is Christy Prior. Having set her eyes for the 2014 Winter Olympics, the 23 years old hopeful has skills so sick that sends the snowboarder guys running for cover.

This local New Zealand rider only began competing internationally last season and has already secured a gold medal at the Billabong Bro Down 2012. Adding to the list of her achievements was her second place prize in the Womens division of the Slopestyle Finals Competition at the first annual Burton ‘High Fives’ snowboarding competition which took place at Snow Park NZ in Wanaka, New Zealand on August 17th and 18th. Lets’ stop raving about her achievements and let you watch this video below of her.

Although Christy has been snowboarding for about seven years now, this past year she has been concentrating on beefing up her bag of tricks, especially on the perfection of her jumps.
