These liquid mountains look like they’ve been designed to devour surfers. Blessed with barrels so big and so beautiful, it’s easy for these waves to lure surfers in their gaping jaws. Then with a lion’s share of power & speed, they can freely send surfers from bliss to the bottom in a blink of an eye.
Ryan Hipwood has been there, done that and got the near death story to prove it. After such an experience, most would count their blessings and avoid their nemesis like the plague. But as Ryan possesses some true Aussie grit and a “what doesn’t kill ya makes you stronger” attitude, he headed back to “The Right” to lay this beast to rest.
