Sold exclusively at Oakley and Surfdome, the new capsule collection from Oakley – the Thermonuclear 2 Collection – is a nod to the bold colours and in-your-face graphics of ’90s Californian style.
The collection draws heavily on the brand’s rich motocross heritage with the reoccurring throwback Oakley logo, which is prevalent across the range, being taken from their first product; a motorcycle grip that was released in 1975. The oversized colour block mesh sweatshirt epitomises this theme and clearly echoes the jerseys that are worn by motocross riders.
The collection captures the meaning of Thermonuclear Protection through ironic graphics such as the burning sun design and fun dinosaur graphics, whilst the bold primary colour hues are inspired by the Oakley graphic pattern lens from the 90’s.
This colourful range includes t-shirts, anoraks, sweaters, tracksuit bottoms, socks and bags, giving you plenty of options to inject a bit of colour into your wardrobe.
Block out the boring this season.
